1/2″ Road Plate Shims – 10 Pack
The Plate Locks 1/2″ Road Plate Shim 10 Pack includes ten shims designed to help level, support, and stabilize steel road plates where asphalt, concrete, or other supporting surfaces are uneven.
Each shim is made from a heavy-duty, high-strength polymer designed for demanding construction and roadwork applications. The 1/2-inch thickness provides additional adjustment beneath a road plate when a thinner shim does not provide enough correction.

Level and Stabilize Steel Road Plates
Road plates may not sit evenly when pavement or the supporting surface varies in elevation. Plate shims can be positioned beneath uneven portions of the plate to improve alignment, bearing, and stability.
The 1/2-inch thickness provides a moderate amount of adjustment for installations that require more correction than a 1/4-inch shim.
Stack Shims for Additional Adjustment
Plate Locks allows multiple shims to be stacked when additional leveling is required. This gives crews flexibility to fine-tune support beneath the steel road plate based on the actual condition of the supporting surface.
Once the road plate is properly supported, compatible Plate Locks ramps and anchors can be used as part of the complete road plate securement system.
