Description
2′ x 12′ MAPS Yellow Aluminum Sheeting Guide
The 10.6 PS-2-SGMP-212YEL is a 2-foot deep x 12-foot long aluminum sheeting guide designed for use with compatible MAPS modular buildable-box systems. It has a listed weight of 330 lbs. The guide fits in place of a 2-foot modular panel section and allows sheet piles to be incorporated into the excavation system. This can be especially useful where utilities, pipes, or other obstructions cross through the excavation and a conventional solid panel would limit access. The sheeting guide may be used on one or multiple sides of a compatible buildable box, depending on the excavation layout and complete system configuration.10.6 PS-2-SGMP-212YEL Specifications

Designed for Work Around Utilities and Obstructions
The MAPS Yellow sheeting guide allows sheet piles to take the place of a solid panel section where additional flexibility is needed along the excavation wall. This can be useful for:- cross-trench utility lines;
- existing pipe or conduit;
- localized utility exposure;
- structure and utility connections;
- excavations where sheet piles need to extend around an obstruction; and
- modular box configurations requiring one or more sheeting-guide walls.
Flexible Modular Configuration
The guide can be positioned at different vertical locations in place of a 2-foot panel section and may be used on one, two, three, or four sides when the complete configuration permits it. Areas above the sheeting guide must remain protected with compatible modular box components. Full-length corner posts are also required for this application.Sheet Pile Installation
Sheet piles are designed to be pushed into place rather than pounded. The sheets may be interlocked or installed with gaps up to 6 inches when soil conditions permit. If soil begins to slough or ravel through the openings, the spacing must be reduced until the condition is controlled.Verify the Complete System Before Ordering
