The ESC TSB4-810 is a compact steel utility trench shield built for localized utility excavations where an 8-foot shield height is needed but a longer trench box would be unnecessarily difficult to transport, position, or reposition.
Its 10-foot length makes the TSB4-810 a practical option for utility tie-ins, vault installations, bore pits, spot repairs, and other concentrated excavation work in streets, easements, and congested jobsites.
The TSB4-810 is a standard open-ended trench shield. It should not be confused with a purpose-built manhole shield, which may have different end-wall, corner, and clearance configurations.
